The East Tremont Merchant Alliance unites businesses along East Tremont Avenue and East 180th Street to build a thriving, inclusive, and resilient commercial corridor. We are committed to driving economic growth, enhancing public space, and fostering strong partnerships that reflect the culture, energy, and ambition of our community. Together, we work to create a cleaner, safer, and more connected neighborhood for all who live, work, and shop here.
VISION
The East Tremont Merchant Alliance envisions a thriving East Tremont Avenue and East 180th Street corridor where commerce, culture, and community well-being intersect. We strive to build an inclusive local economy that not only supports small businesses but also addresses the social determinants of health—such as access to nutritious food, public safety, economic opportunity, and a clean environment. Through strategic partnerships, collective advocacy, and place-based investment, we aim to transform our commercial corridor into a vibrant hub of resilience, equity, and opportunity in the Bronx.
